Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own top-of-funnel activities: researching target accounts, sourcing decision makers and booking meetings for our Account Executives.

You’ll craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records, and continuously test messaging to improve targeting while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative sales team.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
