Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Employment Law Consultant to join a virtual legal team. This fully remote role requires expert knowledge of South African employment law to support businesses nationwide.

You will guide clients through disputes, policy development, and compliance challenges, while working independently from your chosen location. The position offers flexible remote work and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 6 years of specialized employment law experience.
• Proven ability to manage a remote caseload independently.
• In-depth knowledge of Labour Relations Act, BCEA, EEA and related legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong virtual presentation skills.
• Experience advising on strategic HR matters and complex disputes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote advice on all aspects of South African employment law.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and disciplinary procedures.
• Guide clients through retrenchment, CCMA disputes, and High Court litigation.
• Conduct remote training sessions for HR and management on compliance.
• Develop and update employment law documentation and resources.
• Monitor legislative changes and provide proactive guidance to clients.
