Qualifications

• Extensive experience in logistics management, route optimization, or transportation planning with a proven remote-track record.
• Advanced proficiency in route optimization software (PTV, Route4Me, ONYX) and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage advanced route optimization strategies for the company’s fleet.
• Analyze logistical data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
• Oversee fleet performance metrics, ensuring adherence to schedules and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with dispatch teams and drivers (remotely) to ensure smooth execution of optimized routes.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in route planning and logistics management.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on operational performance and strategic recommendations.
• Manage relationships with technology providers and ensure effective utilization of logistics software.
• Develop and enforce best practices for efficient transportation operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
