Placements24 is seeking a Renewable Energy Analyst for a fully remote role across South Africa. You will evaluate the feasibility, economics, and technical potential of solar, wind and storage projects using market research, data analysis, and financial modeling.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or market research in energy.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven financial modeling/forecasting.
• Advanced Excel (VBA) and data tools (Python, R, SQL) are highly desirable.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct market analysis and identify renewable energy trends (solar, wind, storage).
• Develop financial models to assess LCOE, IRR, and NPV.
• Analyze project data and identify optimization opportunities.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on government policies, incentives, and regulations.
• Support due diligence and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and assist in proposals.
