Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Real Estate Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will inform strategic decisions by delivering in-depth market insights, financial models, and data analyses for properties focused in the Tembisa region.

The role requires a 3+ year track record in real estate analytics, strong modeling and data skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a virtual environment while communicating clearly with investment teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Real Estate Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation software (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent understanding of real estate market dynamics and valuation methods.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with virtual collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on demographic, economic, and real estate trends for target areas.
• Develop financial models to forecast property performance (ROI, cash flow, sensitivity).
• Analyze property data, including comps, rental rates, and development potential.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management with findings and recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs for the real estate portfolio and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with remote colleagues to support investment and divestment decisions.
