Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join its remote-driven strategies team. You will develop and implement complex mathematical models for trading, risk management, and portfolio optimization, working with large datasets and cutting-edge technology to derive actionable insights.

You will collaborate with portfolio managers to translate research into practical applications, stay current with advances in statistics, ML, and data science, and document all models thoroughly

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Quantitative Analyst or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, or Java.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, time series analysis, ML, and financial mathematics.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis and database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement quantitative models for trading strategies, risk assessment, and portfolio construction.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, correlations, and predictive signals.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to translate research findings into practical applications.
• Optimize existing models for performance, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in quantitative finance, machine learning, and data science.
