The ideal candidate has 4+ years in software QA, hands-on automation experience (Selenium, Appium, Cypress), and strong knowledge of bug-tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla, with Agile practices guiding the workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using bug tracking systems.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Collaborate closely with development and product management teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Participate in the review of system designs and technical specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Perform performance and security testing as required.
• Ensure that all testing activities are clearly documented and results are effectively communicated.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
