Placements24 is seeking a Remote Project Manager to lead community development initiatives for a non-profit client. You will plan, execute and monitor projects focused on education, healthcare access, economic empowerment, and infrastructure development.

The role is fully remote with global collaboration alongside volunteers, community leaders, and partners. A strong background in development projects and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, with a focus on community development or social impact projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for community development initiatives, from conception to completion.
• Develop project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with community stakeholders, local leaders, and partner organizations to ensure project alignment and buy-in.
• Oversee project implementation, monitoring progress, and addressing challenges as they arise.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial accountability.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among remote project team members and stakeholders.
• Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular project reports and impact assessments for stakeholders and donors.
• Manage volunteer coordination and engagement for project activities.
• Ensure project outcomes contribute to the organization's mission and strategic goals.
