Placements24 is seeking a Project Manager to lead remote expansion initiatives in agricultural technology. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and vendor selection to implementation and farmer training, across various regions including Kimberley, Northern Cape, and beyond.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management and a strong interest in agricultural processes and technologies, with experience coordinating remote teams and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing remote teams and projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Admin, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with agricultural technologies (IoT, precision farming) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of agricultural technology deployment projects.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Identify and select technology vendors and partners.
• Oversee installation and implementation of technologies on farms.
• Coordinate training programs for farmers and staff on new tech.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure effective communication with remote teams, farmers, and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and gather feedback for improvements.
• Stay updated on advancements in agricultural tech and best practices.
