Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in agricultural extension or related role with technology transfer.
• Strong knowledge of modern agricultural practices and South African farming tech.
• Experience delivering educational content in online and offline formats.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in agricultural extension, training, or a related role, preferably with a focus on technology transfer.
• Solid understanding of modern agricultural practices and emerging technologies relevant to South African farming.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver educational content in various formats (online, presentations, written materials).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in using digital communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, email platforms).
• Experience with data collection and basic analysis to report on program impact.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Knowledge of different agricultural sub-sectors within South Africa is beneficial.
• A patient and empathetic approach to supporting farmers.
