Placements24 is seeking a Production Chemist to join their globally distributed technical team, working remotely. You will analyze fluid samples, optimize treatment programs, and support safe, efficient production of hydrocarbons across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years in production chemistry within Oil & Gas, remote ops preferred.
• Knowledge of corrosion, scale, emulsion, and paraffin control.
• Experience with remote collaboration and data interpretation.
• Strong remote communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze crude oil, natural gas, and water samples.
• Develop and monitor chemical treatment programs to prevent corrosion, scale, and paraffin.
• Troubleshoot production chemistry issues and diagnose root causes.
• Collaborate with field engineers and operations teams via remote channels.
• Stay updated on new chemical technologies and best practices.
• Maintain records of analyses, treatments, and performance data.
