Jobgether is seeking a Product Owner (Matchmaking) based in South Africa to own the post-purchase journey, drive activation, and optimize recommendations. You will work at the intersection of product, data, engineering, and design to turn insights into tangible improvements and impactful outcomes across a globally distributed, remote-first team.

You will lead experiments, collaborate with stakeholders, and shape personalized experiences to help paying users discover meaningful connections

Qualifications

• PM experience in a B2C product role focused on activation and onboarding.
• Discovery-driven product expertise in high-volume offers/listings.
• Experience with matching/recommendation systems.
• Segmentation and personalization knowledge.
• Background in marketplaces or social discovery platforms.
• Ability to develop hypotheses and testable product requirements.
• Strong experimentation and analytical skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration and delivery ownership.

Responsabilités

• Own the post-purchase customer journey from activation to meaningful matches.
• Optimize matching and recommendation relevance to provide diverse, quality options.
• Increase meaningful engagement and invite/conversation activity in early user life.
• Design and implement engagement mechanisms, nudges, and reminders.
• Leverage segmentation and enrichment data to improve recommendations.
• Identify growth opportunities from product metrics and user feedback.
• Define hypotheses and measurable success criteria for experiments.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with engineers, designers, and data scientists.
• Run experiments, measure results, and iterate on winning ideas.
• Drive continuous improvement of the customer experience through data-driven decisions.
