Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Procurement Officer to join our expanding team. You will manage end-to-end procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and drive cost savings from a home office while supporting operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field.
• At least 4 years in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts remotely.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially online.
• Track record of achieving cost savings and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, including requisition, sourcing, negotiation, and order placement.
• Identify and vet potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, ethical, and financial standards.
• Conduct market research and analysis to inform purchasing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and SLAs with suppliers to achieve best value and terms.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and databases using company-approved software.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
