Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Procurement Officer to support purchasing activities in a fully remote role. You will assist in processing purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, and maintain procurement records, working closely with team members and vendors in a virtual environment.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Some prior experience or internship in procurement or related administrative role is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing purchase requisitions and generating purchase orders.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and update relevant databases.
• Support senior procurement staff in sourcing activities and supplier research.
• Help track orders and resolve minor discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures.
