Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer SAS + R for a fully remote role embedded with a pharmaceutical client. The role requires expert SAS programming, CDISC SDTM/ADaM experience, and the ability to lead CRO programming deliverables while maintaining high data quality.

You will support regulatory submissions, trial reporting, and exploratory analyses, working with FDA guidelines and industry standards in a dynamic, sponsor-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or statistics (major preferred).
• 7+ years of experience as a Statistical Programmer on a Biotech/Pharma Clinical Development Biometrics Team or similar.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and expertise in SDTM/ADaM/Define.xml in a clinical development environment.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interacting with FDA and/or global regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, reviewer’s guides and define.xml files for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to produce datasets, listings, tables, and complex graphs.
• Deliver high-quality SAS and/or R programs for clinical development programs.
• Oversee CRO programmers to ensure timelines and data quality across studies.
• Support preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, publications, and analyses.
• Contribute to creation and validation of programming standards, tools, and macros.
