Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer (SAS + R) to work remotely with a premier pharmaceutical client. You will lead programming activities, ensure data are SDTM/ADaM compliant, and oversee CRO outputs with autonomy.

You will contribute to regulatory submissions, reports, and exploratory analyses while following FDA/ICH guidance and GxP standards. This role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics.
• 7+ years as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma clinical development.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and experience with CDISC standards.
• Regulatory submissions experience and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, define.xml, and reviewer’s guides.
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, listings, tables, and graphs.
• Deliver high-quality SAS and R programs for clinical development programs.
• Oversee CRO programmers to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Support regulatory submissions, study reports, DSURs and analyses.
• Follow FDA regulations, GCP, and electronic submission guidelines.
• Develop and maintain programming standards, tools, and macros.
• Contribute to CDISC standards development and data validation plans.
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors, and internal teams to hit deadlines.
• Draft SOPs and work instructions for statistical programming practices.
