Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer to work remotely on pharmaceutical clinical development programs. You will implement reporting and analysis activities, develop SDTM/ADaM specifications, and oversee CRO programmers to ensure high-quality data deliveries.

The role requires 7+ years in biotech/pharma biometrics, expert SAS skills, CDISC standards, and ability to work independently with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics (preferred)
• 7+ years as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma clinical biometrics
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and SDTM/ADaM Define.xml expertise
• CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, Define.xml), regulatory submission experience
• Experience interacting with FDA/global authorities; ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specs, datasets, reviewer’s guide and define.xml files
• Develop SAS programs for datasets, listings, tables and graphs
• Deliver high-quality SAS/R outputs for clinical development programs
• Oversee CRO programmers to ensure timelines and quality
• Support CSR, regulatory submissions, DSURs and exploratory analyses
• Develop and maintain programming standards, tools, outputs, and macros
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors, and clinical development partners
• Create and review SOPs and work instructions for programming practices
