Placements24 is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead our global remote R&D efforts, driving advanced mechanical design, prototyping, and theory-based research for next-generation products. You will shape the technology roadmap and mentor engineers across the organization.

You bring a Ph.D. or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of experience in R&D, and a proven ability to deliver innovative mechanical solutions to market.

Competenze

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 12+ years of extensive R&D experience.
• Expertise in at least two areas: materials, mechatronics, robotics, thermal management, or advanced manufacturing.
• Proven track record delivering innovative mechanical solutions to market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with remote collaboration experience.
• Experience working in remote R&D environments is a strong asset.

Mansioni

• Lead conceptualization, design, and prototyping of novel mechanical systems and components for next-generation products.
• Conduct advanced theoretical and experimental research to explore new engineering principles and technologies.
