Key Responsibilities

• Define and document the architectural vision for all electrical systems and subsystems.
• Lead the conceptualization and high-level design of complex electrical systems, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to electrical engineering teams globally, fostering best practices and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, standards, and guidelines.
• Evaluate and select key electrical components and technologies, considering performance, cost, and supply chain factors.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with electrical system design and implementation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and architectural reviews for new product development initiatives.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging electrical engineering trends and technologies, incorporating them into the architectural strategy.
• Champion robust design principles, including reliability, testability, and maintainability, within a remote context.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in electrical system design and architecture, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Extensive knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, power electronics, embedded systems, and signal integrity.
• Experience with system-level modeling and simulation tools.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting large-scale, high-reliability systems.
• Exceptional understanding of industry best practices in electrical engineering and system design.
• Proven ability to lead and influence distributed engineering teams effectively.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for a remote working environment.
• Experience with various communication protocols and interfaces.
