Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical system design and architecture with focus on power electronics, energy storage, or grid-connected systems.
• Proven track record of designing complex, large-scale electrical systems.
• Deep understanding of power system analysis, control theory, and hardware/software co-design.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, and system modeling.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts.
• Proven ability to work remotely and collaborate across distributed teams.
• Experience with safety standards and regulatory compliance in energy.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overall electrical system architecture for new and existing products, focusing on renewable energy integration and grid modernization.
• Develop high-level system designs, technical specifications, and architectural documentation.
• Lead the technical design reviews and provide expert guidance on electrical system design choices.
• Collaborate with product management, software development, and hardware engineering teams to translate requirements into robust electrical system designs.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with electrical system design and implementation.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure architectures remain state-of-the-art.
• Mentor and guide a global team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
