Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Precision Agriculture Specialist for a fully remote position, enabling you to guide clients globally in GPS-guided equipment, drones, sensors, and data platforms to optimize farming practices.

You will analyze spatial data, develop variable-rate plans, and provide remote training and support while staying ahead of GIS and data analytics trends. 5+ years' experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Precision Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, GIS, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in precision agriculture or a related technology-driven agricultural role.
• Strong understanding of GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS), remote sensing, and data analytics tools.
• Experience with various precision agriculture hardware and software platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage projects and communicate insights remotely.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the selection, implementation, and operation of precision agriculture technologies.
• Analyze spatial data (satellite imagery, drone data, soil maps) to provide actionable insights for farm management.
• Develop variable rate application plans for fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds based on data analysis.
