Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Precision Agriculture Specialist to join their agtech team. This 100% remote role focuses on GPS, sensors, drones, and data analytics to help farmers optimize operations, sustainability, and profitability.

You will advise clients on technology selection, analyze field data, develop management zones, and provide remote support and training. A degree in related field and 4+ years in precision ag are required.

Qualifications

Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Geospatial Science or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in precision agriculture or related tech.
Proficiency with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and data analysis platforms.
Understanding of sensor tech, drones and data management in agriculture.
Strong communication and remote client support skills.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on selection, implementation, and operation of precision agriculture technologies.
Analyze data to provide recommendations on variable rate application, planting, and harvesting.
Develop customized management zones based on geospatial data and field analysis.
Provide remote technical support and training to farmers and professionals.
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of implemented precision agriculture solutions.
