Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in power system analysis, design, and engineering.
• Proficiency with power system simulation software (PSS/E, ETAP, PowerWorld).
• Strong knowledge of power generation technologies, transmission and distribution networks.
• Experience with protective relaying, grid codes, and electrical safety standards.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, adept at remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed power system studies, including load flow, fault analysis, transient stability, and harmonic analysis.
• Design and specify electrical equipment for substations, power plants, and distribution networks.
• Develop protection schemes and coordination studies for power systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations (SANS, IEEE).
