Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Plant Pathology, Botany, or related field.
• Significant experience diagnosing plant diseases, especially in major crops.
• Strong knowledge of fungal, bacterial, viral pathogens.
• Proficiency with remote diagnostic tools and data analysis.
• Excellent scientific writing and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plant diseases through remote analysis of samples, images, and data.
• Conduct literature reviews on disease epidemiology and host-pathogen interactions.
• Develop and recommend integrated disease management strategies.
• Collaborate with field agronomists and researchers to monitor outbreaks.
• Contribute to development of disease-resistant varieties and diagnostic tools.
• Author technical reports, research papers, and presentations.
