Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Plant Pathologist to join our innovative team on a remote basis. You will identify, diagnose, and manage plant diseases affecting agricultural crops, developing strategies to prevent outbreaks and safeguard crop health for farmers.

Collaborate with agronomists and farm managers to implement effective disease management solutions across diverse geographic areas, staying abreast of the latest research in plant pathology and agricultural sciences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Plant Pathology, Botany, or related plant science discipline.
• Experience diagnosing and managing plant diseases in an agricultural context.
• Strong understanding of mycology, virology, bacteriology, and nematology related to plant health.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and data analysis for plant pathology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey scientific information.
