Placements24 seeks an innovative Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientist to join the R&D team on a fully remote basis. You will design, develop, and optimize novel drug delivery systems to enhance efficacy, stability and patient compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of formulation experience, expertise in drug delivery and regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment from East London.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical formulation development experience.
• Strong knowledge of drug delivery systems, dosage form design, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques used in formulation characterization (e.g., HPLC, dissolution testing).
• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements related to formulation development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop various pharmaceutical dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules, injectables, topicals).
• Conduct pre-formulation studies to understand drug substance properties and excipient compatibility.
