Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Pharmaceutical Data Analyst to join our expanding team. You will extract insights from clinical trials, sales data, and market trends to support strategic decision-making while working fully from home.

You will build data models and dashboards with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance (POPIA/HIPAA). Collaboration with research, marketing, and regulatory teams is essential to translate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, CS, economics, or related quantitative field.
4+ years of data analytics experience in pharma/healthcare.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
Experience with Tableau/Power BI.
Strong statistical knowledge and data mining techniques.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from clinical trial data, sales reports, and market research.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools to visualize KPIs.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and provide interpretations and recommendations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with HIPAA, POPIA.
Contribute to data governance strategies and best practices.
