Placements24 is seeking a strategic Remote Pharmaceutical Market Access Manager to lead initiatives that secure patient access to innovative therapies, across payers, formulary committees, and HEOR collaborations.

You will work remotely with cross-functional teams to develop evidence generation plans, value dossiers, and reimbursement submissions, shaping market access in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical market access, pricing, reimbursement, or related roles.
• In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, payer landscape, and regulatory environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful market access strategies.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
• Conduct landscape analyses to identify market access challenges and opportunities, including competitor strategies and payer policies.
• Engage with payers, formulary committees, and key stakeholders to articulate value proposition.
• Collaborate with HEOR teams to develop robust evidence generation plans.
• Prepare and present value dossiers and reimbursement submissions.
• Monitor market access trends and policy changes, adapting strategies to secure sustained product access.
