Job summary

STELO is seeking an experienced Operations Executive to oversee large outsourced Operations and Maintenance contracts in the mining sector. The role requires travel to various operating sites and flexibility to work from offices in the group or remotely.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in O&M management of process plants (crushing, milling, leaching, flotation, drying, thickening) and a degree in engineering, with PMP or equivalent certification as a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of operations and maintenance processes.
• Continuous improvement and workforce optimization.
• Commissioning and Operational Readiness experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Operations and/or Maintenance contracts across sites.
• Mobilise teams and manage service providers on client sites.
• Develop implementation/service plans and drive progress reviews.
• Monitor budget adherence and drive cost reductions.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and adherence to policies.
• Engage with clients and partners to grow contracts.
