Placements24 is seeking a Management Consultant specializing in Operations Excellence to join a remote-friendly team serving clients primarily in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will analyze processes, optimize supply chains, and design dashboards to track performance, collaborating with client teams virtually.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration and at least 4 years of management consulting experience with strong Lean and Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 4 years of management consulting or related experience in operations, supply chain, or process improvement.
• Proven track record delivering tangible improvements in operational efficiency and performance.
• Strong understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client operational processes and identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement strategies for supply chain optimization, lean manufacturing, and quality management.
• Design and deploy performance measurement systems and dashboards to track key operational metrics.
• Facilitate remote workshops to train client teams on new processes and methodologies.
• Provide expert advice on best practices in operational management and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams using virtual communication and collaboration tools.
• Document findings, recommendations, and implementation plans clearly and concisely.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
• Ensure successful adoption and sustainability of implemented operational improvements.
