Placements24 is hiring an Online Course Facilitator and Support Specialist to join our fully remote team. You will facilitate online discussions, provide academic support, and handle LMS-related technical tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• 2–3 years of online teaching, facilitation, or student support.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with empathetic tone.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues online.
• Patience and genuine desire to support student learning.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team.
• Experience in grading and providing constructive feedback is desirable.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate asynchronous and synchronous online discussions, encouraging participation.
• Provide prompt responses to student inquiries regarding course content and platform navigation.
• Monitor student progress and engagement, addressing issues proactively.
• Assist students with LMS and online tool technical issues.
• Grade assignments and provide feedback per rubrics and guidelines.
• Collaborate with instructors to ensure up-to-date and accessible materials.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
• Develop support resources, FAQs, and tutorials for students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive online learning community.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development.
