Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Offensive Security Analyst to analyze real-world attack paths, model adversary behavior, and help build training data for frontier AI systems. The role focuses on structured adversarial reasoning in realistic scenarios and requires deep practical knowledge of how attacks unfold.

You will work remotely on task-based assignments, with a flexible hourly contract and 10–40 hours per week. Prior experience in pentesting or red teaming is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on pentesting, red teaming, or blue-team work.
• Understanding of attacker kill chains and threat modeling.
• Ability to explain complex attack chains clearly to technical audiences.
• Analytical, systems-thinking mindset with attention to gaps.
• Strong written communication documenting adversarial reasoning.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across environments.
• Classify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps with reasoned explanations.
• Review red team-style scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy.
• Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data for AI training.
• Clearly articulate attack chains, impact, and security tradeoffs in writing.
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments.
