Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Data Security & DLP Analyst (AI Training) to shape how AI models handle sensitive information. You will analyze data security scenarios, classify data, and evaluate DLP and privacy controls in cloud and on-prem environments.

Remote, hourly contract, 10–40 hours/week. You’ll generate training data scenarios, label cases, and contribute to AI safety benchmarking. Strong data security foundation and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Hands-on familiarity with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy concepts (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Ability to think critically about risk scenarios and articulate structured reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.
• Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure paths, and policy violations across use cases.
• Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate, label, and validate high-quality data security cases used to train and benchmark AI systems.
• Apply practical understanding of data risk to improve AI reasoning.
