Qualifications

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our client's complex network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of networking principles, protocols, and cutting-edge technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network growth and ensure robust connectivity for all users, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level network solutions, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and identify potential bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities, implementing proactive solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on users.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
• Stay current with emerging network technologies and propose enhancements to improve network efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise network design and management.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of network security best practices and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
