Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Network Administrator to manage and maintain network infrastructure from anywhere. You will oversee networks, diagnose issues, and implement improvements, collaborating with IT teams and users across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of network administration experience.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/HP network hardware.
• Proficient in network security best practices and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security with relevant tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues for remote users and internal systems.
• Implement and manage VPNs, IDS, and access controls for security.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
