Placements24 is seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee Network Administrator to support operations across multiple locations with a remote-first approach. You will gain hands-on experience in managing network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with upgrades under mentorship.

The role emphasizes foundational networking knowledge, rapid learning, and independence as you grow into a network administrator career within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, network engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls and Windows/Linux servers.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues and outages.
• Provide technical support to end-users for network-related problems.
• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing network documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
• Participate in network infrastructure upgrade projects and system enhancements.
