Job summary

Kontak Recruitment is seeking a remote-first .NET Web Developer in South Africa to work across ASP.NET Web Forms, VB.NET and C#. The role is permanent with a competitive salary range and room to grow in a specialist team.

You will contribute to client-facing platforms, internal systems and third-party integrations, emphasizing high-quality code and proactive problem solving in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of commercial full stack web development experience.
• Solid ASP.NET Web Forms experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of VB.NET and/or C#; training for the other language possible.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience including T-SQL and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain ASP.NET Web Forms applications using VB.NET and C#.
• Work across front-end and back-end development as a full stack contributor.
• Design, write and maintain T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot and support production applications and database queries.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and external platforms.
