Job summary

DotActiv, a South African software company, seeks a C# developer to build and maintain applications using ASP.NET Core and AngularJS, with a Microsoft SQL backend. Minimum requirements include 1 year of IT development experience, relevant certifications, strong C#, OO design, and familiarity with CI, JSON, Angular, and Git.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant development experience in an IT environment.
• Grade 12 with Mathematics (70%+) as per NSC/Umalusi.
• IT certification such as A+, N+, MCSE, MCP, MCT, VCP, VCSP, etc.
• Proficient in C# with strong OO knowledge.
• Understanding of scalable design and CI, MS SQL, JSON, Angular, and .NET Framework.
• Experience implementing automated testing and unit tests.
• Proficient with Git for version control.

Responsibilities

• Translating application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to these problems.
• Maintaining code quality, organisation, and automatisation.
