Placements24 is seeking a remote Scriptwriter & Story Editor to develop compelling narratives and ensure coherence across projects in the Arts & Entertainment sector. You will collaborate with producers, directors and creative teams from anywhere, refining storylines, dialogue and character arcs.

The ideal candidate has proven scripting experience, a strong grasp of narrative structure, and impeccable English grammar.

Qualifications

• Proven scripting experience with a portfolio of completed works.
• Strong grasp of narrative structure, character development and dialogue techniques.
• Excellent command of English grammar and spelling.

Responsibilities

• Write original scripts for television, film, games or other media.
• Edit and revise existing scripts to improve pacing, dialogue and narrative flow.
• Develop story outlines, treatments and character biographies.
• Collaborate with the creative team remotely and provide feedback on story elements.
• Ensure consistency in tone, voice and continuity across materials.
• Conduct research to inform script development and factual accuracy.
