Placements24 seeks a remote Mining Data Analyst to join a globally distributed team supporting sites near Vereeniging and beyond. You will transform raw mining data into insights that boost safety, efficiency and resource optimization.

You will work with large datasets across exploration, production and processing, build statistical models, create visual reports, and present findings to stakeholders in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mining Engineering, CS).
• Minimum of 4 years of data analysis experience in mining or resources.
• Proficiency with Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, SQL.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong statistical modeling knowledge and ML concepts applied to mining.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
