About the Role

You will work with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to create detailed short-term and long-term mine schedules, assess operational risks, and propose innovative planning solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize short-term and long-term mine plans, considering geological data, equipment capabilities, and operational constraints.
• Utilize mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, MinePlan) to generate production schedules, material movement plans, and haul road designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new mining projects and expansions.
• Identify and assess operational risks, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure safe and efficient mining practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including geology, engineering, and operations, in a remote setting.
• Stay current with advancements in mine planning technology and methodologies.

Requirements
