Formación

• Master's or PhD in Geotechnical, Mining Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in mine geotechnical engineering.
• Knowledge of rock mechanics, soil mechanics and modeling (FLAC/UDEC).
• Experience with ground support design and implementation.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and remote collaboration skills.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Mine Geotechnical Engineer to provide expert analysis and support for their global mining operations. This fully remote position allows you to contribute your specialized knowledge in rock mechanics and ground stability from anywhere, influencing the safety and efficiency of underground and open-pit mines. You will analyze geotechnical data, assess risks associated with ground conditions, and recommend ground support strategies and excavation designs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geotechnical assessments of underground and open-pit mining environments.

Requirements
