The ideal candidate has 4+ years in media relations or PR, excellent writing and pitching skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects autonomously in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in media relations, journalism, or PR.
• Proven track record of securing media placements in reputable publications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong pitching abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue media opportunities to increase positive brand exposure.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media influencers.
• Pitch compelling story ideas and secure coverage in relevant local and national media outlets.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and fact sheets.
• Monitor media coverage and respond to media inquiries in a timely manner.
• Advise internal teams on media engagement best practices.
