Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in research and development with focus on innovative mechanical design.
• Experience with experimental design, data analysis and prototyping.
• Strong background in advanced materials, robotics or mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and prototype novel mechanical systems and components.
• Conduct research and experiments to evaluate new materials, technologies, and design approaches.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate reports to inform R&D strategy.
• Collaborate with internal and external research partners via virtual platforms.
• Develop and maintain IP through patent applications and disclosures.
• Stay abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering to identify opportunities for innovation.
