Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Manufacturing Process Analyst to join our client’s operations team. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing manufacturing data, identifying efficiencies, reducing costs, and improving product quality across multiple sites.

You will develop dashboards with Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI, partner with on-site and remote teams, and drive lean initiatives through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated Remote Manufacturing Process Analyst to join their operations team. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing data, identifying areas for process improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality across various production sites. You will leverage data analytics tools and your understanding of manufacturing principles to provide actionable insights and recommendations, all from the convenience of your home office. This role requires exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production data from multiple manufacturing facilities to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Collaborate with on-site plant personnel and remote engineering teams to understand challenges and implement data-driven solutions.
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Process Analyst , Industrial Engineer, or similar analytical role.
• Strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency with data analysis software such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Must be comfortable working independently and collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.
