Job summary

A leading self-storage operator is seeking a Fully Qualified Management Accountant to support its UK-based group of companies while working remotely from South Africa. The role involves preparing monthly management accounts, overseeing UK payroll, and collaborating with operational teams. Candidates should have ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, at least 5 years of accounting experience, and strong Excel skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and possesses excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience.
• Experience in multi-entity reporting is desirable.
• Experience in asset-heavy businesses advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Full preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Lead month-end close including accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Provide clear variance analysis and performance commentary.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate remotely with UK operational teams.

Skills

Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or international equivalent)

Strong Excel and accounting systems experience

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
