Placements24 is seeking a fully remote Remote Logistics Planner & Route Optimizer to design efficient national delivery routes, manage fleet schedules, and reduce transit times and fuel usage.

You will work with Route planning software and TMS, analyze data, and collaborate with dispatch teams while maintaining high autonomy and attention to detail. This role offers a competitive salary and strong incentives in a data-driven logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or related field.
• Proven experience in logistics planning, route optimization, or transportation management.
• Proficiency with route planning software (Route4Me, OptimoRoute, ORTEC) and TMS platforms.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Effective communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimized delivery routes for a national fleet.
• Utilize route planning software and TMS to analyze data and generate efficient schedules.
• Monitor real-time delivery progress and adjust routes to mitigate disruptions.
• Collaborate with dispatch teams and drivers for seamless execution.
• Analyze transportation costs, fuel consumption and driver performance metrics.
• Generate regular reports on route efficiency and cost savings.
• Stay updated on trends in logistics planning and route optimization.
• Contribute to long-term logistics strategies and network design.
