Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Logistics Operations Specialist to join our fully remote team, supporting operations that may originate from or impact Vereeniging and surrounding areas. You will manage and optimize various aspects of the supply chain, including coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring timely movement of goods.

This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with remote colleagues across time

Qualifications

• Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations, including shipment tracking and status updates.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Utilize and optimize logistics software and systems for efficient planning and execution.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and service levels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers.

In this position, you will manage and optimize various aspects of the supply chain, including coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with remote colleagues and external partners across different time zones, contributing to seamless logistics execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations, including shipment tracking and status updates.
• Manage all inbound and outbound logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Utilize and optimize logistics software and systems for efficient planning and execution.

Requirements
