Placements24 is seeking a strategic and analytical Logistics Planner to join its remote-based supply chain team. You will develop and optimize transportation plans, analyze data, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries across regions, including Vereeniging.

In this remote role, you will leverage a TMS to plan, execute, and track shipments, monitor performance, and implement solutions to improve delivery times while reducing costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics planning, transportation management, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data.
• Proficiency in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related software.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for liaising with carriers.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
