Placements24 is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage its supply chain operations remotely from Randburg. You will coordinate transportation, manage inventory, and optimize processes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

This fully remote role requires excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with logistics software (TMS/WMS) and ERP systems. You will collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management.
• Proficiency with logistics management software (TMS, WMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including freight forwarding and customs clearance.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize warehousing operations.
• Source and negotiate rates with transportation providers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders on delivery status.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare regular performance reports.
